Hey everyone,

I know it’s been a long couple of weeks and that many of you have also been feeling deflated after the U.S. election results.

As this community very well knows, social impact and climate work have always been urgent and no matter the outcome there would have been a lot of work ahead. But these results, especially as an American currently living abroad, have felt (among many other things) as one more opportunity to "zoom out" and double down on an action plan.

Wherever you are and wherever you are at with processing, I hope it’s worth the reminder that by your side, there are so many people who are committed to doing good and to building a better future for those around them.

Each and every one of you reading this is here because you’re invested in the wellbeing of your communities and the environment, and you want to dedicate your careers to that. Your conviction, empathy, optimism, perspectives, experiences and skills are all needed (when you’re ready).

In the meantime, hopefully this small corner of the internet can play a part in your social impact journey, in uplifting you when things feel heavy and in giving you concrete tools to make this world better.
